Draw the desired pattern for wings on a poster board, and cut them out. Decorate them with glitter and paint, but choose subtle colors. Either get a butterfly to model for you, or you can design one on your own!
Attach your wings to a shoulder strap, but only after trying on your wings! Cut vertical slits, on the spot where your wings reach, and insert threads into them. Adjust until the wings fit perfectly. In case you are 
wearing a hat too, pin or staple you antennas to the hat.
